Hey Greg,
Looks like Hunter will be able to do 2 schools before the aussies, cool....We saw your girls ride this weekend and they were definitely a force to be reckoned with our QLD girls need to pick up the pace to be near them well done...
We had a pretty successful weekend with Hunter on the 65, he had the archerfield stadiumx on sat which he put a smile on our faces with one of his moves to pass for the lead, he manualed over a ski jump to hit the double just after it for the win, but what made us smile was he was telling the kid who he passed ( aircool racing Kawasaki rider) what he did to pass him and that it was a Greg moss move....
He won the second moto by half a lap,In the 3rd moto he actually holeshot but didn't account for how much water they put in the track cause the pros hadn't raced, jumped, landed and high sided BUT he picked himself up caught the pack and passed 3 riders. we knew he was hurt cause he really just cruised around, when he got closer I saw he had blood all over the bar pad, front number plate and fender not to mention his face, so I was very proud he finished his moto. 2 months ago he would have just laid there crying .it was a busted nose and lip that was the cause of the claret. I think we tied for 1st overall ..We are starting to see a bit more mongrel in him he likes to win....
Sunday at the girls cup he ran with the older age group(10-12)but were scored separately he won 7-9 years and was coming 3rd
In the motos behind 11yr old factory kawaski rider and another 10 year old kid so we are very happy with his progress they were a gap on him but he was a gap on the rest of the field but at least we know where we have to get to.. These boys are into their 3rd year on 65 this is our 4th month since the 50......Thanks again for all the exercises they are definitely part of why he is excelling.....
Catch you in June, mean time we have to put in some hard practice if we want to run near your QLD boys mitch Evans and Wilson Todd this year at the QLD Titles I know they are older but it definitely gives us something to work towards....
Cheers mate

Hi Greg
I've done 3 Mossy schools now (Canberra, Mareeba and Cairns), at Canberra I learnt so much about hard packed riding, as I grew up on and prefer the softer tracks, Greg showed me many adjustments I had to make to my technique in order to master the harder surface, which gave me confidence going into the 2006 Junior National Titles, and then there was Matt, man at first I thought the guy was crazy, he kept telling me to ride closer to him, I wasn't that comfortable riding close enough to have my handle bars in his rib cage in the end he yelled out "just put me over the berm" I was gentle to start with but he kept telling me try harder in the end I was like full on contact with him and he thought it was great, I never thought a school could be so intense, and each school I do I seem to tidy up where my technique is lacking, it seems endless what there is to learn about going fast.

Hi
My son has just come back from breaking his humerous bone (just below the shoulder) and was a bit aprehensive about riding again. He really wanted to ride but was worried about breaking the bone again, so we decided for his first ride back we would enrole him in your school, this way he could build his confidence again. He did your school at Appin on MOnday. He has never ridden the appin track and this on top of the worry about the break he had in his arm was playing on his mind all morning. After talking to Greg and beginning the school he soon forgot his worries. He came home tired and sore (from using muscles he hadnt used in 6 months) but full of confidence and excitement. He is now keen to begin riding again and hopes to race towards the middle of the year. Thanks guys
hi Greg
I been practicing all the new skills I learnt from your riding school here in Tasmania last month, I new that I was riding a little quicker, but I just couldn't believe the times that I am doing now. it was my first race here in Tasmania at the weekend and me best time before your school was 1min49sec plus. now that vie been to your school and have been practicing your techniques my lap fastest lap time was 1min 4208 but better still I was very consistent at 1min 43. what can I say Greg im stoked, thank you !!! look forward to some more coaching soon.

Hi there Moss Family,
A big big BIG THANK YOU for your 3 day coaching course in
Mareeba today. Our son Michael (the kid on the KX65 wearing
blue) is now well and truly hooked on MotoX and is looking
forward to joining some of the great clubs here in the far north.
Michael was absolutely speechless when Matt awarded him his
racing jersey at presentation and is now the envy of all the kids
in Port Douglas. He has asked me to frame it along with photo
of Matt (from your website) so that he can hang it in his
bedroom. I can't tell you how much this has meant to Michael's
self esteem. No need to ask who Michael's favourite rider is,
Matt IS A LEGEND!!!
No doubt our front block will soon be resembling a mini motoX
track.
Look forward to you all returning to the far north for some more
coaching.
Kindest regards,
Lisa Heaven
