Moss Institutes Matt Moss had a sensational start to the opening round of the SuperX held in Tasmania. Going into the first round as the reining Lites Champion and he didn’t disappoint. In the first race Matt was beaten at the start by Monea however Matt biding his time made a safe pass on Monea on lap 5 and went on the win the first race.
Matt lost the start again in the second race however quickly overtook Monea again for the lead later in the race Cunningham from the USA had a tussle with Matt however the determined Matt wasn’t going to let that spoil his Round 1 – Matt pulled away in the final lap winning not only race two but taking the overall for Round 1.
Unfortunately for Jake the news was not so good, after sensational practice and qualifying times, in the first race Jake has an incident with another rider losing his rhythm he clipped the top of the triple crashing and fractured his radius bone in the forearm, at this stage Jake will not be competing any further in the Super X series.
