Australian MX Titles
THE UPS AND DOWNS OF THE 2009 AUSTRALIAN JNR MX CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Moss institutes only female rider Meghan Rutledge went into the week as the reining 250cc girls champions and was undefeated all week to reclaim the National title.
A fantastic week was also had by Jesse Dobson who has been crowed the 85cc 9 -U12yrs Champions with Hunter Lawrence gaining a 8th position in this class.
In the 85cc 14-U16 Luke clout was the overall winner also taking the top podium position in the 150cc 14 - U 16yrs. In the 65cc 9 -U11 young Mitchell Evans turned up for the weeks racing extremely ill, but forever the trouper he had a fantastic week finally coming home in 2nd position Hunter Lawrence battled the nerves on the final day and was piped to the post for a podium coming 4th overall.
Kale Makeham battled hard all week also just off the podium coming 4th overall in the 100-150cc 2 stroke 15yrs and 7th in the 250cc 15yrs.
A big shout out to Hayden Mellross who was on winning form at the start of the week and was looking extremely good for a podium spot if not the top spot but unfortunaly a crash broke his collar one ending his hopes for a National Championship - we wish him a quick and easy heal!!
Also a congratulations to Jett Lawrence who won the 50cc class undefeated!! GO JETSTAR!!
