Murray Bridge saw the return of Matt  to Pro Lites, after a two-month layoff with a broken arm sustained in a crash at the season-opener.
Bouncing back from setup issues in qualifying which left him ninth, the young gun made an impressive return, finishing third in Moto 1 and fourth in Moto 2. Ending with a result of equal 3rd placing 4th after a count back.
"It was great to get back out there and racing finally - the last two months have felt like an eternity."
"I felt comfortable on the bike and the Suzuki RM-Z250 performed really well.
"We're happy with fourth for the weekend, hopefully we can continue to race at the front of the field in the next couple of rounds and build some momentum for the Supercross season."
Jay Foreman "It was great to see Matt [Moss] so competitive straight away after his injury, third and fourth was a great result."
"Matt is a key part of our team and we're delighted to have him back on the bike." taken from Suzuki Australia press release.

April 6 2008  R1 MX Nationals Penguin Tasmania

Disastrous news for Matt - Matt in the first practice said he was just cruising landed in a sloppy section of the track and as a result broke his arm resulting in surgery for the series favourite. Surgery has gone well he will see his specialist next week for an assessment and hopefully will be able to race a few of the later rounds. Obviously this is a devastating out come for Matt after winning almost all of the 30 odd races so far this year.
